Crystals are shown as the Egg Shop currency in current Bunker vs Verity walkthroughs. Community coverage also describes several possible sources, including combat or raid results, cave or mining interactions, crates, farms, and current shop offers. Because exact routes and payouts are not officially fixed, verify one source at a time by recording the Crystal icon and balance before and after.
Confirm the Crystal resource
Open the Egg Shop or current currency display and identify the Crystal label and icon. Compare it with Coins, Tech Parts, Robux, and any separate Gem icon. Do not merge them because a third-party page uses “gems” generically.
Write down the starting Crystal balance. If the interface only shows an icon, use the Egg Shop price card or tooltip to confirm its name. Avoid spending until the resource is unambiguous.
The live interface is especially important after an event update, when a temporary currency can appear beside permanent balances.
Test reported free sources
Current community guides describe Crystal drops or rewards connected to raids, some Verities, crates, cave or mining activity, and farm-style systems. These reports establish player routes worth checking, not guaranteed payout values.
Test one route in a controlled session. Record the starting balance, action, displayed pickup or result, ending balance, time, and date. Repeat enough to distinguish a real source from an unrelated reward claimed at the same moment.
If a crate, mine, or farm has a timer or unlock, read the current prompt. Do not publish a quantity, respawn, or hourly rate until the client visibly confirms it.
Compare route efficiency
Use net Crystals per completed cycle, not the largest single screenshot. A difficult raid may show a larger reward but cost more repair Coins or fail too often. A smaller repeatable source can be better while the bunker is still developing.
Include active play and wait time. A farm or timed source with a long cooldown is supplemental, while combat may advance Coins and other goals at the same time. Keep premium purchases out of the free-route comparison.
In co-op, verify each player’s displayed balance. Public evidence does not establish whether every Crystal source is shared, duplicated, individually collected, or owned by the plot host.
Crystal source worksheet
Save toward an Egg Shop target
Open the current Egg Shop and record the specific egg’s Crystal cost before farming. Check whether the cost is per hatch, whether multi-hatch changes price, and whether the pool and displayed odds are visible.
Do not use an old egg-cost table. Current guides disagree on some prices and pools, and event eggs can rotate. Keep enough Coins for the bunker even if the currencies are separate; Crystal farming still depends on surviving and repairing the core loop.
After reaching the target, verify that the confirmation spends Crystals—not a similar resource or premium currency—before hatching. Use the Eggs and Pets guide for the pool and effect checks.
Avoid false Crystal claims
Do not use external currency generators, account-login pages, or scripts that promise balances. Legitimate Crystals appear through the current Roblox experience and its purchase prompts.
Do not count a creator video title or guide estimate as a guaranteed source. Match the reward in your current client. If a route no longer shows the Crystal icon, mark it unavailable for that version.
Keep Crystals separate from Gems in notes. A mislabeled resource can make an efficient route look like it paid nothing or make the wrong shop seem affordable.
Crystal FAQ
What is the best free Crystal source?
The available public evidence does not establish one permanent best route. Test active raid, mining, crate, gift, or farm systems shown in your current client and compare net gain over equal time.
Are Crystals only for eggs?
The Egg Shop use is currently documented. Check the live shop for other uses and avoid assuming a complete use list.
Are Crystals the same as Gems?
Do not assume so. Match the exact label and icon in the current client and track balances separately.
