Bunker vs Verity Beginner Guide

Complete your first Bunker vs Verity raid by digging, closing the hatch route, placing a turret, banking coins, and repairing the first failure.

The safest first raid in Bunker vs Verity begins before you press Start. Dig a room you can actually move through, close the direct route to the hatch, put one turret where it can see the approach, equip both gun slots, and keep some coins unspent. During the raid, stay close enough to protect the bunker, clear packs before they surround the entrance, and stop through the current raid UI while the run is still under control.

Before you start the raid

Walk your plot once. Find the surface approach, hatch or door, underground space, build menus, weapon slots, bunker health display, and raid control. Do not spend until you understand which menu buys blocks, which places defenses, and which changes held guns. On PC footage, players use 2 to dig, P for the blocks menu, 3 for build items, and E on interaction prompts; confirm every label in your own client because updates and platforms can change them.

Dig beneath the bunker until you can enter, turn, and return without fighting the camera. The official experience description recommends hiding underground when pressure rises, but that room is a fallback rather than immunity. Leave an accessible route and avoid a one-block squeeze that teammates or props can obstruct.

Close the obvious route with blocks you currently own. A first shell needs complete coverage more than expensive material. Keep one controlled entrance or approach and leave sightlines over or around the wall. If your turret cannot see past the shell, the wall has protected the enemies from your defense.

Build the minimum working defense

Put the first turret on the lane Verities are likely to use, with open space between the muzzle and the approach. Raise it only when the elevation improves the angle without hiding targets behind your own walls. During the first wave, watch whether it fires through the whole approach. An idle turret is a placement problem before it is a shopping problem.

Equip two held guns before starting. Current community walkthroughs say the two-gun loadout locks for a raid. Choose one weapon for steady pack pressure and a second for a tougher target or a breach. Starter and coin-bought guns can support the free progression path; paid shop weapons are optional and should not be treated as a requirement.

Keep a repair reserve. Spending the last coin on an extra weapon or decorative block leaves no answer when the main wall takes repeated hits. The exact repair cost can change, so the useful rule is proportional: after the shell and first turret work, keep enough balance to respond to the first visible weakness.

Fight the first waves cleanly

Start at the lowest sensible wave or default option. Skipping forward may save time, but community guides report that skipped waves do not grant their rewards. New players gain more from seeing how the first packs move than from jumping directly into pressure their bunker has never tested.

Fight near the entrance. Let the turret fire as enemies approach, use your held gun to thin the pack, and avoid chasing a single Verity so far that another reaches the hatch unseen. Reload after creating space rather than when a group is already touching the wall. Watch the bunker health and the wall that takes the first repeated attacks.

If a durable enemy arrives with ordinary Verities, clear the smaller pack that can slip through before focusing everything on the large target. Current walkthroughs often describe major pressure around waves 5 and 10, but the developer has not published a fixed boss schedule. Treat banners and the actual enemy on your screen as authoritative for the current run.

End, bank, and improve the run

Current guides consistently advise using End Raid to bank a run instead of waiting for a wipe. Read the live button and result screen before relying on that behavior, because reward settlement is update-sensitive. A good first session ends with a controlled exit, a visible result, and enough information to fix one problem.

At the summary, separate rewards from balance you already held. Note the wave reached, enemies defeated, time survived, and any coin or gem result the client shows. Do not assume one recorded payout is guaranteed. Then return to the plot, repair the most-hit section, and buy the improvement that answers the failure you observed.

Use this order after a weak run: close a gap, restore a clear firing lane, repair the shell, then add damage or bunker health. A second turret does not fix an open rear wall. A stronger gun does not fix a blocked turret. A huge bunker does not help if half of it remains unfinished.

Claim free progress without confusing systems

Check Daily Rewards, Missions, and timed Free Gifts between raids. Public walkthroughs show these as separate systems that may provide coins, traps, weapons, or Tech Parts. Their timers and exact contents can change, so read each current card rather than relying on an old table.

The Secret Gun is another separate reward. Current walkthroughs show a plot board asking you to like the experience and join the official Beyondd Games group. That is not a promo code. Use the Secret Gun guide for the safe account and in-game steps, and use Codes only for actual string redemption status.

Beginner mistakes and recovery

Starting with an open shell

End or survive the current attempt, then close the direct route before adding decoration or a second weapon purchase.

Buying before testing angles

Run one manageable wave and move an idle turret. More turrets reproduce the same blind spot if the lane is wrong.

Spending to zero

Delay the optional upgrade and keep a repair reserve. One repaired choke point often saves more than one extra early purchase.

Hiding too long

Underground is a regroup point. Some documented Verities dig, so return to the defense when the approach is manageable.

If the run collapses, ask what failed first: an unclosed route, blocked angle, lack of pack damage, bunker-health pressure, or a player caught away from the hatch. Fix only that first failure and repeat. Controlled iteration is faster than rebuilding the entire plot after every loss.

Open Build a Bunker when the shell is unclear, Turret Placement when guns sit idle, Get Coins when upgrades feel slow, and the Survival Guide when early waves are stable but later pressure breaks the layout.

Beginner FAQ

Should I buy a gun or a turret first?

Make the shell functional and cover the main approach first. If the current starter weapon clears leaks while the turret works, preserve coins for repairs. Buy more damage when a tested lane is covered but enemies still survive through it.

Is underground completely safe?

No. The official description recommends it as a retreat, while current walkthroughs show later enemies digging or finding gaps. Build it for recovery and movement, not permanent immunity.
